~Art Based Concept Maps~

I'm working on a project making concept maps. I'm combining art history and medical information to help my studies in nursing school. The idea is similar to creating a "memory museum" to help learning, memorizing, and staying engaged during long hours of studying.

(These are the rough drafts. My next step is to clean them up, fix the layouts, edit, and rework them on PhotoShop. My goal is to create a complete NCLEX/nursing review book)

I've made about 65 so far. I'm currently working on cardiac meds and ICU material. (coming soon)

charmainegrace asked: Hi there! I absolutely LOVE your Tumblr! Educational (AND artistic) idea! I wanted to know what your sources are for the care plans?

Thank you:)
but to be clear, they are just concept maps. A simple and fun layout of basic need-to-know info for nursing or medical students. (Care plans are very comprehensive and in depth)

Books used for information in concept maps:
Lippincott- med surg text book
ATI- med surg & phamacology
Saunders- NCLEX-RN review
Paul L. Marino- The ICU book
The merck manual- the home heath hand book
And a few other from the library- I’ll go look up publisher and title and list them soon

Please verify all the informatiocan, I have yet to do a second edit, so there may some mistakes. And as you can see, there is often an abundance of info. But I kept coming across new info from one source that another source left out. Part of the frustrations studying medicine…
